Sei” is all about a lethargic guy concerned only with his issues and takes some roguishness initiative to attract the young girl with that money the ludicrous man leads a happy life and even turns over towards an ambition th at he wants to become as a film actor. In essence, the content keeps on slow down phases, the director Raj Babu com promised by giving message by the end of the flick. The “Sei” movie hero Nakul made provoking an aversion per formances with a frivolity body language, but anyhow this wasn’t extended throughout the film. A perc ept ual structure of the story which was given in a rhythmic manner and with blasting songs had delivered by N. Y. X Lopez. The film has been compressed with all sorts of commercial-grade, which a tenuous acclivity among the au dience circle.
The film exposed in the opening that the politicians were conflicts among their party members that leads to misfortune event, a kindhearted Thalaivasal Vijay who is purely handed politician, he wanted to run an orp ha nage for the mentally disordered people. Abruptly, the minister’s secretary Janaki shows the fired up building video clipping and made them shocking by this continued with a carefree guy’s activities have been focused on the first half.A gang of guys followed Saravedi Saravanan and observes his daily basis of behaviour. The gang be lieves in, by observing a lively character that they can try to make a vigorous film. Among the gang except Aan chal Munjal all were against by his behaviour, but the energizing lady stimulated Saravanan to lead his life in a decent way.
In this scenario, Saravanan’s father was hospitalized and the old man has been first-aid by a strange guy Deepak. Now, after the hospitalization the voguish Saravanan’s taking charge of his father’s duty. Once he takes his fat he r’s ambulance Saravanan move towards a mortuary place that there he gets a huge amount to carrying the dead body, while taking the dead body a physically challenged man Nassar and a couple of women travels with them . At a point, Saravanan suspects with the family that they behave abnormally in the ambulance and the dead bo dy that he was a guy who protect Saravanan’s father from the cardiac arrested.The circumstances all were agai nst to Saravanan, the innocent family target to kill Saravanan and need to dispose of the Deepak’s body.
Now, the opening is being linked with the climax, why the building was fired, the orphanage people were treated in bru tally way, who is the guy Deepak and why the reason he was murdered and planning to destroy in a forest area. For all these, the director kept a criteria was the human organ transplantation. In the Tamil film industry, mny movies have been projected with this storyline anyway one more attempt is done by Raj Babu.A Molly wo od director Raj Babu, takes an initiative in the Kollywood, an aggressive performance of Na kul couldn’t tol erate in the first half and applause for the director there is no love sequels. For the commercial as pe cts songs have be en stuffed that could be harmonized by the audience. Old message, an action based entertainment movie.
Watch The Trailor-;
Tamil cinema has finally found its ‘loosu paiyan’. Is this a sarcastic take on the ‘loosu ponnu’ trend? Or did the director have a bigger – ‘a taste of one’s own medicine’ – plan in mind? We might never get to know that, but the bottom line is, we’ve seen the loosu paiyan and we hope this does not become a trend. Ever. Director Raj Babu’s Sei starring Nakkul in the lead is a comedy-action-thriller. The film also stars Prakash Raj and Nasser with actor Aan chal Munjal making her Tamil debut.Nakul plays an eccentric, aspiring actor who then becomes an ambula nce driver and gets embroiled in a ‘big chain’ of events.
It can be quite exhausting to even recall the film’s storyline (which I shall for the sake of this review). The film’s first half makes no sense and quite literally only becomes engaging before the interval block.While the hero is an aimless, quirky ‘loosu paiyan’ Aanchal’s character is an aspiring scriptwriter who either rips off of successful film s or follows a real person to know what happens in their life to turn it into a story. The film’s story begins with a fire accident at a mental asylum that claims the lives of several patients with intellectual disabilities. A minister who inaugurated this mental asylum is then blamed for this accident.Soon it is revealed that the minister has be en used as a scapegoat by a bigger gang and just before he goes to prove that he’s innocent, he’s killed too. No w where does our hero who does poster advertisements and borrows money from his girlfriend fit in? You’ll have to wait until the interval block for it all to make sense.
Nak ul’s transformation in this film is quite deliberate, from being the ‘loosu paiyan’ to becoming the villain bas hing hero. He is quite over-enthusiastic and overplays his character. Aanchal has nothing more to offer than a duet and a few scenes that require her presence. The film’s music is not remarkable either and one wonders how much longer are we going to enjoy the sudden duets that happen in the middle of a desert or a barren plateau. The stunt sequences could’ve been done better given that this is an action flick. Sei has too many unwanted tw ists and turns and does very little to pique your interest. One of the sub-plots in director Raj Babu’s Sei (Just Do It) is that of Nila (Aanchal Munjal) and her group of wannabe filmmakers trying to find a script to make into a fil m. They first pitch a mythological like Bahubali and then a sci-fi drama like Enthiran to a Kodambakkam produ cer played by Manobala.
It’s what Sei’s director thinks he’s doing when we’re introduced to ‘Saravadi Saravanan’ (Nakhul), an aspiring ac tor and small-time model – he’s the ‘interesting character’ Nila has been looking for. What sets him apart, you ask? He’s the kind of guy who plays petty tricks on people just so he and his buddies can make enough money to hit the Tasmac shop. How original, no? But things change when his ambulance-driver father gets a heart attack. He becomes a stand-in driver and takes up a lucrative-but-shady offer to transport a dead body. Mid-way thr ough the journey, he learns that the relatives accompanying the body aren’t really relatives. They’re part of an elaborate organ–smuggling gang and the body is of a journalist who tried to expose them.From a comedy, the film changes gears and becomes a thriller and the rest of Sei plays out exactly like one would imagine. An obvi ous second-half flashback, a twist so twisted that it’s funny and songs (including a Sufi number) that have no pl ace in the film. Also, does Nila finally end up making a film based on Saravanan? No one knows.
