NEUBERG JOINS HANDS WITH C-CAMP
Chennai, August 1, 2019: Neuberg Diagnostics Private Limited, the fastest growing healthcare start-up in India, which ranks among the top 4 diagnostic service providers in India, today announced a strategic alliance with the Centre for Cellular And Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), an initiative of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Govt. of India. C-CAMP is one of the country’s biggest and most vibrant innovation hubs with some of India’s most disruptive innovations in the life sciences and biotech arena under its belt.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Renu Swarup, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India & Chairperson, Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Cou ncil (BIRAC); Dr. Taslimarif Saiyed, CEO & Director, C-CAMP; Dr. G. S. K. Velu, Chairman & Managing Director, Ne uberg Diagnostics Private Limited; and Dr. Sujay Ramaprasad, Medical Director, Neuberg Diagnostics Private Li mited.
As part of the arrangement, Neuberg Anand Academy for Laboratory Medicine (NAALM) will partner with C-CAMP for technical training co urses covering Flow Cytometry, Genomics, Mass Spectrometry and other adva nced technology platforms. Also Neuberg Anand Reference Laboratory and Anand Diagnostic Laboratory – A Neuberg Associate will have access to high end technology like electron microscopy at C-CAMP for analyt ical testing and for research into method development.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sujay Ramaprasad said, “Neuberg is happy to be entering into an alliance with C-CAMP. Furt hermore, this association will also provide us with access to high end technology like electron microscopy at C-CAMP wh ich will enable us to provide more in-depth diagnostic insights where applicable.”

The electron microscopy imaging facility at C-CAMP provides researchers all over India with access to one of the most high-end Platform Technologies currently existing in the Imaging space. Through C-CAMP, these tech nol ogies are also being made available to industry and commercial entities. The facility houses state-of-the-art im aging equipment to allow researchers to observe nano-scale architecture and phenomena in living systems.
The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) is an initiative of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Govt. of India, with a mandate to enable cutting edge Li fe Sciences and Healthcare Research and Innovation. It is one of the country’s most exciting and unique life sci ences innovation hubs bringing together academia, industry and the startup ecosystem all on one platform.
