Pancharaaksharam Movie Director by debutant Filmmaker Balaji Vairamuthu. The meaning of Pancharaaks haram refers to the five-syllable word ‘Namah Shivaya’. the movie is based on a belief that changing our thought process will change our life. Actor Gokul Anand A musician, a writer, a humanitarian, a racer and an explorer, all happen to cross paths and meet each other. As forces drive them together, they become friends and spontaneou sly plan a trip, during which they begin to play a game. What starts as a practical joke soon turns into something much more real as they must face the shades of their past and also their worst nightmares. The film, true to its name, and film has five leads  Santhosh Prathap, Madhu Shalini, Sana Althaf, Ashwin Jerome, and Gokul Anand  and each of them represents one of the five elements, the director explains. For example, Santhosh is a traveller in the film, so he represents the sky.

Are these changes supernatural or does it have anything to do with their thoughts, is the core idea of the film. Did the events happen because they read the book or would it have happened if they had not read it too. Pancharaaksharam answers that question in an adventurous manner with a narrative that contains supernatural elements and psychological reasoning. Sana Althaf fit the bill perfectly. for as a female lead, She has also done a good job. The women are actually the backbone of this script. After Seen the trailer, it is apparent that the film has been shot in various locations. Balaji says they filmed in over 70 locations.Pancharaaksharam opens with an animated prelude, set in the 11th century Chola period, about the origins of an accursed book that was written to predict the reader’s future, but had to be kept hidden for all that came of it was doom.

And it is this very book that five friends unfortunately pick to play a game. He’s a free spirit, Ashwin, who plays a racer in the film, is a friend of mine. He has been part of the film ever since its conception. we spotted Gokul in the viral Vadi Vadi track from Chennai 2 Singapore. He plays a musician in the film and it was only after signing him that we found out he knows how to play the guitar. Similarly, each of the other characters has the characte ristics of the associated element, says Balaji, who is quick to add that the film is not just that.Pancharaaksharam ReviewWhen they read the book, it changes their lives. For Dushyanth (Santhosh Prathap), who calls himself a traveller, it spells harm from a Satanic child. Pancharaaksharam is the kind of film that surprises by simply by being an engaging watch.

Director Balaji Vairamuthu sets up the story with quick character introductions and gets into the plot.  For Sam eera (Madhu Shalini), an aspiring writer, it predicts escape from a grievous situation – but only temporarily. Ai dhan (Gokul), a musician, reads a passage that says his life will be in danger from the very art that he loves. The do-gooder Jeevika (Sana Althaf, whose dubbed voice doesn’t suit her) will come face to face with mankind’s darkest depravity. As for Dharma (Ashwin Jerome), who loves the thrill of speed, he might be in an accident. Can the five friends overcome these tragedies that fate has in store for them and rewrite their destinies? But the characters are one-dimensional and it banks on the actors to make us care for them. And the five actors do a decent job, though we don’t get a compelling performance.

The film also rushes through the portions where four of these characters go in search of fifth one. They find the villain’s hideout quite easily despite the fact that the clues they have in hand are vague. But Yuva’s interesting frames and KS Sundaramoorthy’s vigorous score propel us past these and keep usglued. The film then picks up pace and dashes to a tightly edited and scored interval stretch. The mishmash of genres – there a elements from horror thrillers, psychological horror, and adventure – actually helps in enhancing the eeriness. And in the second half, the film turns into a Saw-like slasher film and thankfully stops short of being torture porn. The film also feels unique thanks to the concepts it keeps talking about – the power of positive thought, dark web and so on.
