Story -:

The protagonists, Vimal and Suriya, are close friends who live in the village of M arakattur in Sivaganga district, and they do not go to any work, but rather cheat t heir sister Devadarshini’s family and the village and spend the money they earn b y drinking and wandering around the vil lage.

At one point, the villagers, unable to tol erate the atrocities of the two, collect m oney and send Vimala to Malaysia with i t. However, when Vimal loses the job he was doing there, he returns to his native village.

At the same time, Vimal falls in love wit h the heroine, Shritha Rao, who comes t o the village as a veterinarian. All the vi llagers gather and elect Vimala as the v illage head.

At one point, a farmer commits suicide. Following this, Vimal takes drastic acti ion as the village head. In the end, what drastic decision did Vimal take to save a griculture? What was the reason for the villagers to elect Vimala as the village h ead? This is the rest of the story of the fi lm ‘Padava’.

Movie Review -:

This rural comedy drama brings togethe r the talented duo of Vemal and Soori, p roviding an enjoyable and entertaining e xperience. Vemal, in his unique style, car rries the film with ease, while Soori, in a strong supporting role, provides plenty  of humor and charm.
