National, 20th June 2025: Get ready to return to a world where dinosaurs rule the screen again—Universal Pictures (distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery), unveils the next adrenaline-charged chapter in the beloved Jurassic saga. Jurassic World: Rebirth is set for a India release on July 4th, 2025 (worldwide release on July 2) and will take fans to an adventure with its breathtaking visuals and a deeper look into the new era. Under the direction of Emmy Award-winner Gareth Edwards, the film promises a truly immersive and thrilling new era. Leading the stellar cast is the powerhouse talent of Academy Award nominee Scarlett Johansson, joined by Emmy Award nominee Jonathan Bailey and Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali. Adding to the cast are talented performers Luna Blaise, Rupert Friend, Ed Skrein, and David Lacono.
Following Jurassic World Dominion, the story shifts to an isolated equatorial region where surviving dinosaurs have found a familiar, thriving habitat. Now, the fate of humankind may rest on the three most immense among them, who hold the secret to a miraculous, life-altering drug. Dr. Henry Loomis (played by Jonathan Bailey), a paleontologist, whereas Zora Bennett (played by Scarlet Johansson), a skilled covert operative who leads a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure genetic material from the world’s three most massive dinosaurs. Her operation clashes with a civilian family’s desperate plight after aquatic dinosaurs overturn their boat. Marooned on a forgotten island, they unearth a shocking, decades-long global secret.
While talking about David Koepp’s screenplay writing, Director Gareth Edwards mentioned, “It’s a mission story that becomes a survival story with some great curveballs thrown along the way,” Edwards further said, “It elegantly balances and intertwines a story about these adventurers on a quest and an emotional family story. It’s a journey of distinct chapters set in interesting environments, sea, land, and air. Each one is their own short story thrill ride that adds up to one roller-coaster of epic story. At times, it’s like Jaws, at other times, it’s like Indiana Jones, and in between, it delights in the majesty of nature like a David Attenborough film. Truth be told, when I was reading the script, I thought if it presented one opportunity to do anything as cinematic and intense as the T. rex attack in Jurassic Park, I’d probably do it. But David’s script presented multiple opportunities, and I just got excited by the thought of making all of them.”
