 420 AIR WARRIORS PASS OUT TO JOIN AIRFORCE FROM MECHANICAL TRANSPORT TRAINING INSTITUTE, AVADI

A total of 420 Air Warriors of Automobile Technician, Automobile Fitter and Air Force Police of Mechanical Transport Training Institute (MTTI) and Air Force Police & Security Training Institute (AFP&STI) respectively completed their 52 weeks of rigorous training successfully. They will now join the main stream of Indian Air Force. Three foreign nationals from Nepal and Afghanistan also underwent the training. To mark this jubilant occasion, a Valedictory function was organised at Air Force Station Avadi. Air Commodore Dinesh Singh Dagar, Air Officer Commanding (AOC) Air Force Station Avadi was the Chief Guest of this function.

The Chief Guest complimented the passing out trainees for their successful culmination of training. While addr essing the trainee air warriors, AOC emphasized that the country has reposed enormous trust in each one of the m to safeguard the skies and assets of the nation. AOC urged the air warriors to put sustained efforts towards continuous enhancement of knowledge and skills by keeping themselves abreast with the latest changes. AOC also advised the air warriors to maintain exemplary conduct at all times, in keeping with the ethos of the service.

Amongst these trainees, the ‘Best in Trade Trophy’ for Auto/Tech, Auto/Fit     & Air Force Police trainees was awa rded to Leading Aircraftsman (LAC) PS Balwant,    LAC Sahil & LAC AP Singh respectively. ‘Best in General Servi ce Training’ for Auto/Tech, Auto Fit & Air Force Police trainees was awarded to Aircraftsman Mujeeb Khan, AC AS Rathore & AC AS Tomar respectively. ‘Best All Rounder Trophy’ for Auto/Tech, Auto/Fit & Air Force Police tradesmen was awarded to LAC Krishan Tiwari, LAC Sahil & LAC Mohit Rathore respectively.
