For the first time in India, Sony Sports Network will live telecast Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) numbered events, which include title fights, in four languages with the launch of Tamil and Telugu language commentary for the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization (MMA). This initiative from Sony Sports Network to serve a wider base of viewers across multiple markets signals the continuing explosive growth of UFC viewership in India.

Starting this Sunday, February 13 with UFC 271: ADESANYA vs. WHITTAKER, UFC and MMA fans across India can now watch all UFC numbered events in the language of their choice: SONY TEN 2 in English, SONY TEN 3 in Hindi and SONY TEN 4 in Tamil and Telugu, as well as live-stream it on SonyLIV.

Sony Sports Network will kickstart the live coverage of UFC 271 on their flagship live studio show ‘Ultimate Guide to UFC’ at 7:30am IST. The show is hosted by anchor Sudhi Sahdev and features panelists Somesh Kamra and Arjun Chipalkatti who will share their expert insights, analysis and expectations as a preview to UFC 271.

The main card of UFC 271 will be live telecast at 8.30 am (IST), featuring the UFC world middleweight championship as archrivals Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker square off in a rematch over two years in the making. After successfully defending it three times, UFC middleweight champion Adesanya will put his title on the line once again against former champion Whittaker who will look to get back the belt following back-to-back victories over Darren Till, Jared Cannonier, and Kelvin Gastelum.

The co-main event will be a thriller between heavyweight rankers as former title challenger #3 Derrick Lewis will look to seize a hometown victory in Houston, Texas against the always entertaining #11 Tai Tuivasa.

The main card also includes a middleweight bout between #3 Jared Cannonier and #4 Derek Brunson that could determine the next title challenger to the winner of the main event. Additionally, bantamweight contenders collide when Kyler Phillips faces Marcelo Rojo in what looks like a firefight of the night. Opening the main card, Bobby Green takes on Nasrat Haqparast in a thrilling lightweight matchup.
