Story;

Rocky discovers that there are several unexcavated gold mines in the fields and orders his men to start extracti on. The CBI officer Kanneganti Raghavan and his team are shocked how an outsider is ruling KGF and tries to fig ure out more answers. Some central minsters are fed up by the KGF empire and want Ramika Sen to be in power and plan to vote for No confidence motion against the DYSS party head Guru Pandian. Meanwhile, Adheera, Sur yavardhan’s brother who was presumed dead, is revealed to be alive and stakes his claim to the ownership of K GF. Adheera kills all guards at the Outpost 1 of KGF to strike fear in the hearts of the KGF residents. Andrews kills Rajendra Desai in order to focus on his plan to get rid of Rocky. John captures Reena as she tries to run away from KGF but Rocky saves her. However, it is revealed to be a ruse to bring Rocky outside KGF and Adheera sho ots Rocky but spares his life to send a message. Rocky recuperates but realises that no one is able to move out of KGF as Adheera’s men have surrounded the mines.

Meanwhile, Shetty, Rocky’s ex-boss in Bombay, ties up with the other subordinates of Andrews across the Western Coast against Rocky. They also join forces with Inayat Khalil, the dreaded gold baron of Dubai. The No Confidence Motion is passed against Pandian and the government was on the verge of losing the majority. An inj ured Rocky visits Dubai with gold to fix a business deal of gold distribution with Inayat Khalil but Khalil denies it saying he has already dealt with Shetty. In response Rocky and his gang kills all associates of Shetty dealing with Khalil and recapture the Western Coast, forcing Khalil to deal directly with Rocky; he purchases machine guns from him. While Rocky’s trucks are moving to Varca, Adheera’s henchmen blast one of the trucks. Rocky and his gang ambush and kill Adheera’s henchmen with their newly acquired weapons. Adheera is shot but Rocky spares his life with a warning to stay out of KGF. The No Confidence Motion against Guru Pandian fails as Rocky’s hen chmen hold many ministers at gunpoint and threaten them. The Government run by Pandian is again in majority. Rocky resumes his activities. He goes to Bombay and kills Shetty, gaining control over both Bombay and KGF. Rocky however ignores the warning given by Pandian about Ramika Sen.

Ramika Sen wins the Indian general elections and becomes the Prime Minister of India. At first Sen ignores Rag havan but when he explains the situation, she orders all state borders closed and authorises various CBI official to conduct raids at the warehouses of Rocky all over India, headed by Raghavan. A young Anand Ingalagi is cau ght by Rocky’s henchmen in one of these raids but Rocky leaves him and ask him to write down everything he wit nesses. The CBI raids a warehouse of Rocky, but Rocky’s men move the gold out save for a 400 gram gold biscuit left behind. CBI takes that gold biscuit to a police station. Rocky brings down the whole police station to bring back the biscuit. Sen and the CBI become aware of the situation. She then orders to cancel the Burma dele gation and gives a free hand to the Indian military to kill all the Burma-based rebels, thus indirectly warning

Rocky stops all gold consignments and gold supply from KGF and starts hoarding it. As the tension rises, Andre ws goes at Adheera’s place and pleads him to kill Rocky, Adheera assures him but promises to kill him if he does not find a secret place for entering KGF. Rocky asks the workers not to stop mining but when he is questioned by Khasim he lies about it saying that this was his promise he gave to his dying mother. Rocky and his team pull out his mother’s grave and relocate it. Rocky’s team also finds his biological father who is a drunkard and did not car e for her mother and left her. Rocky makes his unaware father a caretaker of his mother’s grave as a punishment. Rocky and Reena then get married. He goes to the PMO and hands Ramika Sen a file which has all information regarding his illegal funds used for money laundering. Sen’s party members ask her not to take that file because a huge chunk of these funds goes to more than 200 members of her party. Sen directly warns Rocky that she wou ld snatch away the KGF empire from him in a matter of seconds. Rocky snubs her that to do so, she must be way ahead of him. Sen then realises that if she has to defeat Rocky she should work outside the system and governm ent.

Andrews gets a call from Delhi that Adheera has found a secret passage in Mine no 3. Inayat Khalil also sends his armada to help Adheera as he wants to take his revenge. Adheera and his team use the secret passage to reach KGF. Adheera and his team including Andrews, Daya and John attack Rocky’s army. Just as Reena announces to Rocky that she is pregnant, she is sniped to death by Adheera. A war ensues between Rocky’s army and Adhee ra’s henchmen. Rocky is badly injured by Adheera but soon overpowers him. Rocky’s army is able to kill Adhee ra’s henchmen including Andrews and Daya. Rocky kills John and chokes Adheera to death. While Ramika Sen is giving her speech at the Parliament, Rocky and his henchmen arrives at the parliament to kill someone, presum ably Sen herself.

But in a twist it is revealed that Rocky actually came to kill Guru Pandian who is the main maste rmind and shoots him to death in front of Sen. It is then revealed that Pandian was the one who staged the fake attack on Garuda and planted the false attack on Adheera, but pre-informed him about it, thus saving his life. When Rocky took total control of KGF, Pandian was the one who called Adheera and showed him the secret pas sage of Mine no 3. It is also revealed that he was responsible for the downfall of his party at Delhi and goaded Shetty to join forces with Khalil. Pandian was the one who linked Rocky to KGF.

Meanwhile Ramika Sen issues a death warrant against Rocky. Rocky evacuates KGF of all its residents. He leaves on a ship with his cache of gold. The Indian military gives chase and Rocky is asked to stop the ship but he refus es. Soon Sen orders to blast the whole KGF empire along with Rocky’s ship. Rocky gets killed, along with all the gold where his promise to his mother gets fulfilled to die he was the richest man with majority of the gold pres ent with him. The Indian government was unable to locate the gold underwater. At the end Rocky took all the gold with him and died. Before dying Rocky had formed a KGF Colony for the workers of KGF empire. It is shown that young Anand Ingalagi decides to write a book about Rocky and how he lived by describing him as a MONST ER, who lived for a mother’s promise.In a mid-credits scene, it is shown that 3 months back some CIA offical fro m USA handed a file listing all the crimes done by Rocky in USA to Ramika Sen. It is also shown that Rocky’s ship was not only chased by Indian military but also by American and Indonesian militaries. In the present it is shown that the peon at 24/7 news also finds a final draft of a file named K.G.F: Chapter 3 and that Rocky mayn’t have died in the missile attack after all.

Movie Review-;

There is a reason why Yash’s star power in KGF caused a mass hysteria which loyally continued even with the onset of the sequel of the movie. Be it his action sequences or his emotionally high octane scenes, never once did the actor let go of his charisma and magnetic screen presence in KGF: Chapter 2. As the sequel further delves deep into unearthing Rocky (Yash)’s legacy, so does the actor’s performance becomes more layered with each passing moment. Yash’s Raja Krishnappa Bairya a.k.a. Rocky Bhai infiltrates the ghastly underworld of Narachi as a hired hand in an attempt to assassinate the kingpin Garuda. At the conclusion, Rocky manages to behead Garuda in one grand, cinematic swipe of his sword, and frees the thousands of miners and breathes joy into their lives. The first instalment sets the tone by showcasing Rocky’s stellar rise to the top and KGF: 2 begins right where things were left off, albeit with the stakes having risen in the most unprecedented ways for Rocky. While Adheera (Sanjay Dutt), Garuda’s uncle, lurks in the darkness waiting to be unleashed, Rocky’s fame and power attract attention from the highest political powers in the country.

The plot of KGF: Chapter 2 starts from where the first part concluded. It has Vijayendra Ingalgi (Prakash Raj) narrating the story of his father’s book ‘El Dorado’ which showcases the fate of Rocky’s KGF (Kolar Gold Fields) which he had captured after killing Garuda ( Ramachandra Raju). This time around, Rocky is surrounded by even more enemies now, the most ruthless of which is Adheera (Sanjay Dutt), the brother of Suryavardhan (Ramesh Indira). He also has to face the fierce newly appointed Prime Minister, Ramika Sen (Raveena Tandon) who is lea ving no stone unturned to curb his power. It is how the male protagonist faces these enemies and liberates the oppressed population of KGF forms the main crux of the story.  Vijayendra Ingalgi (Prakash Raj), son of the for mer journalist and author of the infamous book El-Dorado, takes over as the narrator of KGF: 2 and soon sets the context. Rocky Bhai has conquered Narachi, much to the shock and dismay of Rajendra Desai, Andrews, and politician Gurupandian.

Rocky has bigger, mightier plans in mind for the place (now rechristened KGF), and soon realises that he had been sitting on a gigantic treasure trove all along, one that’s much bigger than anyone knew. But, as he treads the thin line between ambition and greed, things intensify all around him so that he eventually reveals his true mettle. Prashanth Neel, whose story unfurled in a slow-yet-intriguing manner in KGF: 1, makes no bones about his intent with the sequel and cranks up the energy right from the word go. However, despite his attempts to k eep things running at the same pace, the plot runs out of enough material to make this as riveting and thrilling as the first instalment.Director Prashanth Neel has continued to curate the lavish cinematic experience against the backdrop of a sought-after goldmine. However, the plot becomes further nuanced and engaging in the second h alf when the events become more fast-paced. Rocky’s mission turns more steadfast and so does the brutality of his rivals. This makes way for an edge-of-the-seat experience that will leave you wanting more.

 Much of KGF  2 is a test of Rocky Bhai’s tenacity – both physical and emotional. As he expands the mining op erations of KGF, he turns it into his hidden fortress and becomes a demigod in the eyes of the people, while Ad heera’s menacing presence looms larger than ever. Neel’s story utilises all the many open ends of  to perfection and one gets to see many unfinished angles – of Inayat Khalil, Shetty, etc. – justified to great effect  Yash starrer expected to earn Rs 40-50 crore on opening dayThe writing by Prashanth Neel plays an ideal catalyst in dev elo ping Rocky’s character even further. His mercilessness towards his enemies, his promise to his mother (Archana Jois), and his love for Reena (Srinidhi Shetty) come to center stage in KGF: Chapter 2. However, the storyline looks a little convoluted in the first part. The highs and lows of the protagonist are not given much time to dev elop and there are too many events happening altogether without a breather. The arc of the supporting chara cters could’ve been pushed a little further which makes a revelation,

in the end, look a little forced. It is only in the second half that the plot takes an adrenaline-rushing turn.  The filmmaker’s conviction shows through his characters, like Ramika Sen (Raveena Tandon), the newly elected pri me minister of India, who becomes Rocky’s stiffest political and bureaucratic opponent. Raveena, who returns to Kannada cinema after almost two decades, packs a punch, delivering each line with gusto. She makes Ramika a memorable character in a world that sometimes seems rigged with excessive male bravado.    Manyata Dutt calls Sanjay Dutt the HERO of K.G.F Chapter 2 wants everyone who thinks he’s ‘irresponsible’ to watch the film The film has a strong emotional core too and “mother sentiment” echoes throughout, along with evocative flash ba cks to Rocky’s childhood. Veteran actor Easwari Rao joins the cast, adding more depth to the story. Rocky’s love life blossoms on the side, Reena Desai (Srinidhi Shetty) promising him a wholesome, happy familial life. It is pe rh aps this love track, which begins on a rather problematic note with respect to consent, that remains the most ha lf-baked, and one sees the story ebb and flow as a result.

Sanjay Dutt is certainly a striking figure on the screen in his Vikings avatar and is his imposing best in the breath-taking action sequences. But his character arc is rendered monotonous after a point, offering little depth and per spective. Fans are treated not once but multiple times to the much-awaited face-off between Adheera and Ro cky Bhai, and one tends to let go of all the other shortcomings in sheer wonder. Yash couldn’t have been more powerful than this. The actor looks in his best element and encapsulates the magnanimous aura of his character Rocky in every frame. KGF: Chapter 2 delves deeper into his vulnerable scenes in the most effective manner. Sa njay Dutt as Adheera is menacing to the core. Even though his look and mannerisms are an exact rip-off to that of Travis Fimmel from Vikings but he adds his own intense touch to every frame. The main showdown sequence between Rocky and Adheera forms one of the main highlights of the movie. The main star of the film, however, is the exceptional synergy between Prashanth Neel and his team.

The filmmaker’s vision is apparent in every frame and he doesn’t drop the ball on the intensity even for a micr osecond. In what will soon become a historic actor-director collaboration, Yash rises to the occasion and casts a mesmeric spell on the audience with his swagger and charm. From charismatic action sequences to showing raw emotion, the actor looks tailor-made for the film’s larger-than-life milieu. Due credit must go to his stylist Saniya Sardhariya whose retro-themed costumes add a new dimension to the overall opulence. Ace art director Shiva Ku mar’s set pieces take the film to a whole new level and aid immensely in bringing Prashanth Neel’s unique world to life. Bhuvan Gowda, the cinematographer, creates his own visual palette and doesn’t seem too bogged down by the period setting of the story – each frame, each swipe of the camera is beautiful and admirable. Rav eena Tandon as Ramika Sen tries to put up a powerful performance but her act comes across as stereotypical and repetitive in some of the scenes.

Her enemity with Rocky could’ve been explored in a more nuanced manner. Srinidhi Shetty has a charming scr een presence but could’ve had more room to perform instead of just being reduced to the protagonist’s love int erest and a damsel in distress. The performances of the other supporting cast members is top-notch. And yet, th e two most vital cogs of the wheel turn out to be editor Ujwal Kulkarni and music composer Ravi Basrur. Ujwal’s slick editing gives the film’s mayhem and bustle an original perspective and brings an almost Mad Max kind of energy. Ravi Basrur’s score ranges from Kannada folk to hard rock and western classical, and very rarely does one get to encounter a soundtrack that matches beat to beat with the rhythm of the screenplay.The background score by Ravi Basrur is one of the main validating aspects of KGF: Chapter 2. It brings out the heroism of Rocky and his victory or conquests in the most thrilling manner. However, there could’ve been more exciting soun dtr acks other than ‘Sulthana.’ The action sequences have been masterfully choreographed. This one will make way for a visual delight and nothing short of an emotion for all the die-hard fans of Rocking Star Yash. The actor shin es once again and puts his heart and soul in this legacy of a film. Watch out for the post-credit part (we won’t blu rt out the suspense). For all the Rocking Star Yash fans across the world, KGF: 2 will be a rollicking ride that’s wo rth all the hype. Despite the few shortcomings, viewers are bound to recall the film forever for its outrageous ima gination and incredible technical finesse. Fans are advised to stay seated until the very end for a major sur prise, concerning a potential sequel, that awaits them!
