MAKE YOUR VALENTINE’S DAY AN OAT-A-LICIOUS AFFAIR WITH THESE WHOLESOME OATS RECIPES

 Quaker Oats Mango Pancake

1.         Powdered Quaker Oats ¾ cup (175g)
2.         Banana or ripe mango – sliced 1
3.         Plain flour (maida) ¼ cup
4.         Egg white 2
5.         Skimmed milk ½ – ¾ cup (150g)
6.         Sugar (optional) As per taste (optional)
7.         Vanilla flavor 1 tsp

 

  Instructions

  1. Powder ¾ cup of Quaker oats.
  2. Puree one sliced mango or banana with little milk.
  3. Add powdered Quaker Oats, Maida, and egg whites to the puree.
  4. Add sugar, vanilla essence, and skimmed milk to it.
  5. Mix well to get pouring consistency.
  6. Heat a non-stick pan and pour the pancake batter on it.
  7. Cook on medium flame until edges are brown.
  8. Drizzle with honey and serve.

3.         Baking powder 1 ½ tsp
4.         Egg white 2
5.         Powdered sugar (optional) 1 tbsp
6.         Vegetable oil (optional) ½ tsp
7.         Milk ¾ cup
8.         Vanilla essence ½ tsp
9.         Lemon Zest 1

 

Quaker Oats Vanilla and Lemon Waffle

 Instructions

  1. Roast ½ cup Quaker Oats for 2-3 mins. Cool and grind.
  2. Mix Quaker Oats, whole wheat flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Sift together.
  4. Whisk two egg whites. Add ¾ cup milk, ½ tsp oil, ½ tsp vanilla essence, 1 tbsp powdered sugar (optional) and zest of 1 lemon.
  5. Mix it well.
  6. Add the flour mixture and blend.
  7. Pour in the waffle mixture and bake till golden.
