RNAIPL bags three prestigious industry awards for commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety

Chennai, 04 April 2023 – Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt Ltd (RNAIPL) won the Sector Topper Gold Catego ry Award at the Confederation of Indian Industries Environment, Health, and Safety (CII-EHS) Awards. The awa rd was presented to the RNAIPL team by Thiru. Siva V. Meyyanathan, the Minister for Environment and Climate Change, State Government of Tamil Nadu, at the ceremony organised by CII.

RNAIPL won the Gold Category Award for the Automotive sector following a rigorous assessment process that included onsite evaluation of EHS practices by a team of industry experts. More than 200 companies took part in the selection process for the awards.

The CII EHS Gold Category award is an important validation of our efforts and the progre ss that we have made over the last few years in our culture, practices, and performance for EHS. We will continu e to set a high benchmark for ourselves in this important area in the years to come,” said Keerthi Prakash, MD, R NAIPL.

RNAIPL was also named the winner in two other categories of awards – the EHS Leadership Award, conferred fo r demonstrated and sustained leadership for raising the bar on EHS practices, and the Safe Employees, Safe Com munities Award, which recognises RNAIPL’s contribution to advancing safety at the workplace and the commun ity level.
