SRM Arts and Science College, Kattankulathur conducted the Induction Programme for its first-year students on 12th July 2023 at Dr. T. P. Ganesan Auditorium. Chief Guest of the Programme Dr. M. Ravi IPS, Former DGP and Commissioner of Police, addressed the students on the importance of setting goals, putting hard work in c hasing them down, and every graduate’s responsibility to serve the Nation and care for their Parents. Mr.P.K. J anarthanan, Managing Director – Sri Mahalakshmi Groups, Villupuram addressed the students about being sel f-disciplined and optimistic in life.
He further advised them to develop their communication skills and keep learning new technologies. Dr. S. Ram achandran, Director-Academics spoke about the need to utilize the available sources for successful careers an d make things happen for themselves. Dr. R. Vasudevaraj, the Principal of the College presided over the progra mme. Prof. K. Mathiyazhagan, Vice Principal introduced the Chief Guests. Dr. O. V. Ravikumar, Head, Departme nt of Microbiology delivered the welcome address and the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. J. Saravanan, He ad of the Department of Management Studies.
