Athulya Senior Care, a distinguished leader in senior care proudly announces the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), a renowned deemed-to-be-university. According to the United Nations Population Fund’s India Ageing Report 2023 there were 149 million persons aged 60 years and above in 2022, comprising around 10.5% of the country’s population. And, by 2050, this population will double to 20.8%, with the absolute number at 347 million. With the growing elderly population in India, the need for suitable care and living arrangements has become more pronounced than ever. To be future ready the ground work has to start now.

This MOU between Athulya Senior Care and Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER) is the first of its kind in the senior care industry, and marks a pioneering shift in senior care, fostering collaboration between a healthcare provider and a university.
