MAIDAAN  HINDI MOVIE REVIEW

CAST

Ajay Devgn as Syed Abdul Rahim alias Rahim Saab

story

From 1951 to 1962, Rahim was the one who created various players in the Indian football team and made India famous on the world stage. Ajay Devgn-starrer Maidaan has come out as a biographical film of Rahim. The film is directed by Ameet Sharma and produced by Boney Kapoor. A. R. Rahman has composed the music.

Rahim is the coach of a football team based in Calcutta. Rahim is accumulating various successes by coaching poor football players from Andhra, Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab and other states to play in the Indian football team. A person in charge of the football association who is jealous of Rahim removes Rahim from the position of coach by doing state politics. In the end, the story of Maidan is the problems and challenges faced by Rahim to win the football game as a coach.

Ajay Devgan has shown that if Rahim had lived, he would have faced humiliation and pain like this. Priya Mani as Saira is excellent as an average woman who expects success from her husband. And everyone in the cast has done a great job. Rahman’s songs and background music are superb. The cinematography by Tusshar and Pyotr Lois lends hand to the director’s imagination.

The director has made the players proud by bringing players like Peter Thangaraj, Tulsi Das, Bala Ram, PK who made it to the Indian football team in the 1950s. Let the playing field decide the success and failure of the athletes. He said that the political arena should not decide.

A royal salute to the director who brought the footballers who made India proud. Maidan is a must watch movie
