Movie Review -:

Although the coastal villagers in Thooth hukudi district rely on fishing, they are u nable to go to the sea to fish. The reason son is that a greedy person’s spirit poss es the sea and kills those who come ther e. Due to this, the people of that village have been struggling for more than 40 y ears without any means of livelihood an nd are doing whatever work they can. S ome youths are involved in smuggling. O ne of these youths, the hero G.V. Prakas h, although initially involved in the smug gling business, decides to get rid of it aft ter knowing its true background and res tores the livelihood lost by his villagers.
Accordingly, a man who wants to go into the mysterious sea to solve the problem, goes into the sea with his friends, does h e return alive? Or did he return dead as t he village believes?

G.V. Prakash Kumar, who plays the youn g man of the fishing village, has acted as usual without any change in both appea rance and acting. G.V. Prakash Kumar, w ho only did what the director told him, h as done it the way he knows how, in the same way.

Although Divya Bharathi, who plays the heroine, does not have much work, som e scenes have been forced into the film j ust to force her.

Alagamperumal, Chethan, Kumaravel, S abumon Abdusamad, who plays the villa ain, Antony, Rajesh Balachandran, Arun achaleswaran.PA, Praveen, and Payar K arthik, who play other roles, have done t heir job properly.

Gokul Pinoy, a cinematographer who is known for his green matte films, has trie d to bring the beauty, danger, and grand deur of the ocean to the screen, but sinc e everything has to be brought through green matte, his efforts have failed.

G.V. Prakash Kumar, who has made a na me for himself as an actor but has achiv eved success as a music composer, has m ade such a mess of his own film’s music, which is shocking to the fans. The songs are forced, so it is impossible to enjoy th em. The background music is so loud tha t it tears the ears and causes headaches.
Editor San Lokesh has edited the scenes with the confusion of whether the horro r in the story is important or the twists b ehind the horror are important, so even the suspense passes by without adding a ny interest to the screenplay.

Written and directed by Kamal Prakash, he has tried to tell a horror story that ta kes place at sea as a fantasy. However, d ue to the lack of a compelling story and a strong screenplay, his fantasy and horr or ideas did not make any impact on the audience.

Although the team’s hard work is eviden t through the supernatural imagery crea eated through graphics and the confron tation with spirits at sea, the lack of gra phics in those locations makes the film a bit weak. Overall, ‘Kingston’ is a broken boat.
