Movie Review-:

There were high expectations for the fil m as Kamal and Mani Ratnam were pair ed up after the hero. But both of them di d not fully fulfill those expectations. Dir ector Mani Ratnam has let down his gua rd in many things like the slow-paced sc reenplay, uninteresting scenes, and char acter designs. Although the beginning of the film is good, the way it is carried out afterwards is a struggle. Especially the fi rst half of the screenplay tests our patie nce. It is not clear why Trisha’s character is in the film. Similarly, the film did not c onnect with us emotionally. The emotio n of the hero of the film connected with us, so the film has taken a place in our m inds till date. That emotional connect is not there in the film.

That is the biggest minus. Also, if it is a Mani Ratnam film, t he dialogues are to ouching. But, it is a pit ty that there is no thing like that in the fi lm. Both Kamal H aasan and Simbu fully support the film w ith their performance s. Especially in the fight scenes, both of them pulled the stri ngs. For that, we hav e to give credit to s tunt masters Anbu A rivu. They have scu lpted every fight sce ne like crazy. Simila rly, the acting of Joju George and Abhira ami was good. Apart fr om these, no one else’s character was en joyable. Director Mani Ratnam has let u s down, and even A.R. Rahman was expe cted to save us, but he has also let us do wn. The biggest disappointment is that t he song Mutha Maalai was not included in the film. Also, the background music i s not good. Because as fans, we know ho w talented Rahman is and how good qua lity background music he can provide.

But, not doing it is a big disappointment. T he cinematography and editing did not s atisfy us. Technically, it seems that the fi lm could have been stronger. Kamal & Si mbu’s acting Fight scenes Minus point s Uninteresting screenplay Character de sign Trisha’s role A.R. Rahman Overall, Ta ak Life is a disappointment
