Q1 Results: Indian Bank standalone net profit at ₹2972.82 for the quarter ending June 2025 grew 23.7% year-on-year compared to ₹2403 crore in the year-ago quarter
Indian Bank Q1 Results:
Indian Bank reported a 23.7% year-on-year rise in standalone net profit at ₹2972.82 for the quarter ending June 2025 compared to ₹2403 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Net Interest Income (NII) increased by 2.9% to ₹6,359 crore, from ₹6,178 crore the previous year.
Gross NPA stood at 3.01% compared to 3.09% in the previous quarter.
The amount of net non-performing assets at ₹1035.56 for Indian Bank in the quarter gone by, or the April-June quarter, declined from ₹1109.56 crore in the previous quarter (January-March quarter) and was substantially lower compared to ₹2026.59 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Interest earned by Indian Bank during the April to June quarter at ₹16282.71 grew 8.2% compared to ₹15039.23 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Indian Bank’s consolidated net profit, on the other hand, at ₹2218.51 for the quarter ending June 2025, was down 8% year-on-year compared to ₹2417.30 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Indian Bank Share price movement
Indian Bank’s share price opened at ₹625.65 on the BSE on Thursday and was slightly higher compared to the closing price of ₹624.65 on Wednesday. The Indian Bank share price continued to gain thereafter, and, post results, touched intraday highs of ₹642.20, which translated into gains of close to 3% during the intraday trades.
The Indian Bank share price is trading very close to 52-week, or 1-year, highs of ₹658.50. The Indian Bank share price has risen sharply compared to 52-week lows of ₹474.05 in January 2025. The Indian Bank share price is up more than 28% in last six months.
