Story-:
Fahadh Faasil, who has been living by do ing petty thefts, is released from Palaya nkottai prison. He robs a house again to engage in theft. At that time, Vadivelu is in the house. Vadivelu asks him to some how save him from this house and take h im away. Since he agreed to pay for this, Bhagat Fasil also takes him away from t here. Bhagat Fasil learns that Vadivelu h as 25 lakhs in his bank account and plan s to rob that money somehow. On the o ther hand, Vadivelu, who has amnesia, c annot even remember the ATM PIN nu mber. In this situation, the story of the fi lm Mareesan is how Fahadh Faasil robs that 25 lakhs from Vadivelu.

Movie Review -:
After the film “Mamannan”, Vadivelu ha s shown excellent performance in this fil m too. He has lived as an amnesiac in the character of Velayudham Pillai. There is no resemblance to any of the characters played by Vadivelu before this in this fil m. Overall, Vadivelu has acted in a comp letely new evolution. On the other hand d, Fahadh Faasil will do any role he is gi ven well. Similarly, he has acted well in the character of Dayalan in this film. The conversations and fights between him a nd Vadivelu are enjoyable. The perform rmances of both of them are what holds the film “Marisan” together.
Director Sudheesh Shankar has got 200 percent performance from both Vadivel u and Fahadh Faasil. The scenes where t hey talk while riding a bike, the scenes w here they sit under a tree and sing, and t he scenes that happen in the climax are well shot. Similarly, the twist in the film was well worked. Although many people will know this while watching the film, it was shot well.
Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music and backgr ound score add strength to the film. Onl y the background score in the second ha lf was too loud. The combination of Faha dh Faasil and Vadivelu was successful in the 2023 film Maamannan. Following th at, their combination has been successf ful in this film as well. Although there is no major problem with the film’s screen nplay, the film’s editor Sreejith could ha ve reduced the length a little more. The length of the flashback scenes is also a hindrance. And their emotionality is not conveyed properly. Overall, Marisan is a treat for Vadivelu and Fhahat Fasil fans.
