Story-:
In the Kurangani hilly region, enmity has prevailed between the people living on the mountaintop and those at the foothills for 3000 years. They occasionally attack and kill each other. The people at the foothills are less civilized than those on the mountaintop. Vimal is like the leader of the tribal people living on the mountaintop. He raises an elephant named Sena. The Yaliswaran idol in the temple of his region is very valuable. A plan is hatched to steal it. Forest officer John Vijay plans to steal it using the people from the foothills.
Meanwhile, Vimal’s elephant, which has gone into musth, attacks his daughter Alli. Alli dies. The entire village is shaken, and the elephant escapes into the forest.
Vimal goes into the forest searching for the elephant. Taking advantage of this commotion, they attempt to steal the idol. How did Vimal confront their attempt? What happened to the elephant that went into the forest? That forms the rest of the story of the film ‘Mahasena’.
