Story -:
Sarathkumar fits the role of Moorthy well. His scary appearance, long beard covering his face and rude nature that does not talk much express the role perfectly. Such an appearance and acting are special for him. Actress Devika Sathish, who plays his daughter, comes across as his daughter and sits comfortably in the mind. Actor Indrajith Jagajith, who plays the role of Arul, the young man who loves Sarath’s daughter, does not look like a newcomer and brings the role to life. Vaiyapuri, Srijith Ravi, Birla Bose, Thamaraichelvi, Sarjin, Mythili Sathyaraj, Pinis Babu, Biju Maungal Varghese, Deena Bhatia and many others have played supporting roles in the film. The story goes from kidnapping the lover who loved Sarathkumar’s daughter to locking her in a boat, and then it revolves around inside the boat.
This is a bit boring. Most of the scenes in the film take place inside the fishing boat. The scenes are set to take place in the middle of the ocean. They show the boat inside and outside. The scenes involving Moorthy and Arul take place inside the boat. But the cinematography has been done so closely that we can see them from close up. Each scene makes us feel like we are in a boat moving on the waves.
The dog named Lucky, raised by Sarathkumar, appears in the film like a character. The dog’s loyalty to its owner and its suffering in the boat will make us feel disturbed.The film features songs with meaningful lyrics. ‘Azhage Veena Neeyadi’ is a good melody. Such songs are good. But after the interval, when it moves towards the climax, the songs that sound like speed bumps make us feel like speed bumps.
Overall, the film ‘Azhi’ can be said to be a journey of a story in the middle of the ocean.

Movie Review-:
This ‘Aazhi’ movie has been made under the name Samudrathin Osai. Sarathkumar, whose name is Moorthy, is doing many illegal activities like drug dealing in Nagercoil. He is making a fuss without anyone to listen to him. In such a situation, Nikhil Murugan wants to expose him as a YouTube blogger. He is beaten, washed and thrown on the road. Sarathkumar’s daughter is studying in college.
Indrajith Jagajith, a student who agrees with her in college, is in love with her. Someone takes a photo and video of this and sends it to Sarathkumar’s cell. The person who sees it gets angry. When Indrajith Jagajith comes alone, he chases him, beats him, makes him faint, and the kidnapper hides him in an ice room in a large fishing boat in the middle of the sea.
When Indrajith wakes up and tries to escape, he beats him and washes him. In such a situation, the two clash. At one point, Sarathkumar’s foot gets caught in the gear of the boat’s engine. What happens next is the rest of the 116.44-minute long story of the film Aazhi.
