Story -:

Praveen (Ken Karunas), having just barely scraped through his 10th-grade exams, enters the 11th grade with a singular determination: to find a girlfriend, come what may. His ultimate ambition is to initiate a romance in high school, sustain it through college, and eventually marry that very same girl.

However, not a single girl accepts his romantic overtures. It is at this juncture that Meenakshi makes her entry. As love blossoms between her and Ken, a conspiracy is simultaneously brewing—orchestrated by certain individuals—to drive a wedge between the couple.

Meenakshi is compelled to return to her hometown due to her grandmother’s failing health. During her absence, a girl named Sonal confesses her love to Ken; unable to bring himself to say no, Ken does not reject her. Consequently, upon witnessing Ken and Sonal in close proximity, Meenakshi decides to break up with Ken.

Heartbroken by this romantic failure, Ken strikes up a friendship with a girl named Anishma. Realizing that his previous experiences were not true love—and that *this* is the genuine article—Ken continues to spend time with Anishma and finally confesses his feelings to her on the very last day of school.

However, Ken is left shattered when Anishma responds that she has always viewed him merely as a good friend. Did Ken, who continued his relentless quest for love, ever find it? What became of Ken’s academic life, which he had previously neglected in favor of aimless wandering? The remainder of the film’s narrative explores the various challenges and tribulations he faces thereafter.

Movie Review -:

Suraj and Devadarshini have, as usual, delivered excellent performances in the roles assigned to them. Similarly, Meenakshi, Anishma, Nalini, and those who played Ken’s friends—everyone has aptly fulfilled their respective roles.

Making his debut as a lead actor, Ken Karunas appears on screen as the quintessential young commercial hero, delivering a spirited and energetic performance. He absolutely rocks every aspect of the film—be it dance, comedy, emotional scenes, or action sequences.
Setting the acting aside for a moment, let us first extend our congratulations to Ken (of “Ken & Gang”) for stepping into the arena as a director. From the very beginning to the very end, the film offers an abundance of comedy.

While the manner in which he crafted all the characters—including his own—is certainly engaging, it is somewhat disappointing that he chose to execute this using a rather formulaic screenplay. The trope of a carefree individual—who has been wandering aimlessly on his own terms—suddenly reforming for a specific cause, while offering a sense of hope, also evokes a feeling of weariness one begins to wonder how much longer we must continue to witness this same narrative on screen.

This remains the film’s single biggest drawback. Apart from this, several other elements in the film stood out as excellent: the emotional sequences designed to resonate with the middle-class audience, the scene emphasizing the importance of education, and the message that true love is unconditional—arising without expectations, rather than being driven by them.

Furthermore, whenever the film experiences a lull, music director G.V. Prakash steps in to entertain the audience with his background score and songs. Additionally, the vibrant cinematography and crisp editing serve to elevate the overall quality of the film. Performances by Suraj, Devadarshini, Ken, Meenakshi, and Anishma Background score and songs
Cinematography and editing
Emotional and comedic sequences
A screenplay that feels all too familiar, having been seen many times before
All in all, this film will definitely appeal to the youth. An entertaining movie…
