Actor Varun is set to be seen in a powerful and challenging role in the upcoming Tamil
sports drama Attacker, headlined by Pavish and Avantika.
The film, centred around the world of volleyball, is directed by debutant filmmaker Dhamo Naagapooshnam and produced by Dinesh Raj under the banner of Zinema Media and Entertainment Limited.
Pavish, nephew of actor Dhanush, plays the lead role of a passionate volleyball player, while Avantika, daughter of Khushbu and Sundar C, plays the female lead. The film brings.
together a young ensemble of actors and real-life volleyball players, adding an authentic sporting atmosphere to the narrative.
Varun, who gained immense popularity through Bigg Boss Tamil – Season 5, has established himself as a versatile performer. After making his debut with Oru Naal Iravil, he went on to appear in films including Bogan, Vanamagan, LKG, Comali, Puppy, Joshua and Imai Pol Kaakka.
In Attacker, Varun takes on the role of a dedicated volleyball athlete. The character required intensive physical preparation and professional volleyball training, allowing the actor to explore a completely different dimension of performance.
