Story-:
Rajkiran runs an idli shop in his village. His idli shop is also the symbol of the village. Rajkiran’s son Dhanush completes his catering studies and goes abroad to work, wanting to be like his father. Although Rajki ran does not agree with Dhanush leaving his hometown, Dhanush leaves the village to say that he is okay with his son’s wish.
Years pass, Dhanush is a senior chef in Sathyaraj’s FC company. However, he does not have the peace of mind that he had in his hometown. Sathyaraj’s daughter Shalini Pandey and Dhanush fall in love, and a marriage is arranged for them. However, Shalini Pandey’s brother Arun Vijay does not like this at all. Just a few days before the wedding, Dhanush’s father Rajkiran dies. Upon hearing this news, Dhanush immediately returns to his hometown from Bangkok. Dhanush, who is still reeling from the grief of his father’s death, is devastated when his mother also dies.
But on the other hand, Sathyaraj says that the wedding must happen no matter what, it is a matter of honor for our family, and Dhanush says that he cannot come back. The wedding also does not happen.
On the other hand, Dhanush decides to take over his father’s idli shop. Nithya Menon enters to support him.
Arun Vijay, angry that his sister’s wedding has been canceled, goes to Dhanush’s village and beats and kicks Dhanush. But Dhanush calmly takes the beatings and when Arun Vijay tries to attack the idli shop, Dhanush hits him back. This becomes a huge problem. What happens after this, which creates the situation of Arun Vijay vs Dhanush, is the rest of the story of the film.

Movie Review -:
We can talk about the protagonist Dhanush later, but we must talk about the director Dhanush first. He has given us the storyline he has taken with a beautiful, very emotional screenplay. Even though there is an imbalance in the screenplay, there is no war at a single point. Similarly, Dhanush has directed the emotional scenes well.
The special thing is that Dhanush takes over the shop after Rajkiran and says that fighting is not the solution, non-violence is the solution. The way it was set up as scenes in the screenplay was also good. Similarly, the moment when the people of the village accept Dhanush, Rajkiran comes to support Dhanush as a god, the intermi ssion scene, the climax, all were enjoyable.
However, there is a possibility that this film will be overly emotional for Gen Z kids. It is also a question mark whether they will connect emotionally with it. The design of the characters in the film was enjoyable. Arun Vijay in particular, his ego-driven performance adds strength to the film. Any leading actor would refuse to accept such a role. Arun Vijay deserves special praise for doing that. Also, Geetha Kailasam and Rajkiran’s characters are touching. Dhanush can be praised for the way they wrote the character.
Parthiban, despite having a cameo role, finally won applause. Although the performances of Sathyaraj, Nithya Menon, Shalini Pandey, and Samuthirakani are good, their characters do not have much impact even though they have a lot of space. Another strength of this film is the music composer G.V. Prakash Kumar. He takes the film to the path of success by lifting the bar in both songs and background music. Similarly, the cinematography of the film was excellent. Kudos to cinematographer Kiran for that. The editing is good. There is no flaw in other technical aspects.
Dhanush, Arun Vijay, Geetha Kailasam, Rajkiran Story and beautiful screenplay Heart – toching emotional scenes songs, background music Cinematography it is questionable whether this film, which is made with a storyline that does not change the smell of man, will be well received in the city. That is the only minus point. Otherwise, although there are some imbalances in the screenplay, there are no major minus points. Overall the idli and sambar eaten in this idli shop on banana leaves were very tasty.
