Movie Review -:
Scenes are shown that reveal Gayatri’s affection for her father and mother.
Gayatri tells her father Isaac that she loves Lingesh. Isaac immediately gives the green light to Gayatri’s love because of his affection for his daughter.
However, Anumol is a bit of a casteist. He says that he cannot accept a person from a different caste becoming his son-in-law.
Not only that, Anumol gives his daughter Gayatri in marriage to his nephew.
When the story comes to the present, Isaac hates Anumol, saying that he is the reason for his daughter’s death. Was Gayatri’s dea th a murder or a suicide? What ended the disagreement between Isaac and Anumol? The director has left the answers to questions in the second half.
All the characters have given their best performances as per the story. It was a pleasure to see Isaac, a face known as a villain for a long time, as a loving father. The strength of his acting is that the tears in his eyes make us cry..
Anumol, when he comes into the scenes, absorbs the acting and becomes that character. In this film too, he has done the same and done it wonderfully. Gayathri Shankar has jumped up and down as a beautiful goddess. Without looking at caste discrimination, without considering it a big deal, everything that is passed through the dialogues is seen as a strength of the screenplay.
Ramesh Thilak’s character is disturbing. The heroine Swagata Krishna has come and gone like poetry with her eyes.If there is a film about caste discrimination, then “Kaayal” is a different creation in Tamil cinema, which had such a screenplay, such a character, such a perspective.
Kaayal is completely different from other cinema, and how far does the current caste discrimination exist? The director has clearly shown how far it will go.
The director can be highly praised for this effort. The cinematographer has beautifully depicted the external lighting and kept us connected with the film.
The songs have melted our hearts. The climax scene makes us tear up. If Gayathri’s eyes remain in your eyes even after the film ends, that is the success of the film.Kaayal Latest Caste Discrimination…
