Movie Review -:

Whether it is karate, kung fu, or boxing, Ben Wang has mixed spectacular tricks i n the fight scenes, saying, “I am ready fo r Gotham, will you come?” FCIn particul lar, he naturally expresses sadness in em otional scenes, tenderness in romantic s cenes, and determination in fight scene s, and he is also a champion in acting. Jac kie Chan, who comes as a trainer, stirs u p old memories by saying, “Even with ag e, that style and mischief have not dimin ished.” Moreover, Ralph Macchio, the an cestor of this franchise, also enters the fi eld, and the ‘Three Dragons Template’ c omes before our eyes. The heroine Sadie Stanley’s ‘cute’ romance makes us smile.

There is no unnecessary scene in the 95-minute film. The screenplay moves fast and engagingly. The fight scenes created by Jackie Chan’s stunt team, which sho w a burst of action every minute, are the lifeblood of the film. The fight scenes ar e created interestingly by subtly combin ing various martial arts. In particular, ne w moves like the “Dragon Kick” are ama zing and set the screen on fire. Jackie Ch han’s gentle smile and humor give life to the film. His sarcastic conversations wit h Ralph Macchio are also interesting. Do minic Lewis’s music and Justin Brown’s c inematography add strength to the film.

The vibrant backdrop of New York and the video game-style competition scen es are eye-catching. At the same time, o nce the first clash is over, it is easy to gu ess what will happen next. Like our Tami l films like ‘Badri’ and ‘M. Kumaran’, this one too follows the same formula, but w atching it on a grand scale gives a sense of excitement. Although there are no un necessary scenes, some more scenes an d emotions could have been added. Due to hasty editing, emotional scenes are tr iggered and end up shallow without rea ching a full emotional level. In particular, characters like Mia and Victor are not fu lly developed. Similarly, Jackie Chan and Macchio’s characters could have been w ritten with special attention. Jackie Cha n ‘s new Tamil dubbed voice does not st ick. Also, this film only touches half of th e ‘peak cinema’ experience of the previo us part. Overall, ‘Karate Kid: Legends’, fu ll of emotional scenes and exciting fight s cenes, will be a great nostalgia treat fo r those who want to watch it with their family.
