Shot Film Review-:

It realistically tells the story of an elderly woman who takes care of her paralyzed husband and looks after her family in a rural patriarchal society. The 21-minute short film, starring Manimekalai and Nidarsana C. Kalidas, is a play on compassion and destiny.Amidst the power of her husband, who is suffering from poverty and paralysis, a woman struggles to save her beloved rooster.

Director Naveen has shown the woes of society in a deep and nuanced way. The realistic performances of the main characters are commendable.
The short film attracted attention at the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and won a National Award. The story depicts the silent pain and resilience experienced by women trapped in the grip of patriarchy. Overall, Little Wings is a realistic, emotional and socially conscious short film.
