Movie Review -:

Kapil Velavan’s choice for the role of Curly, who shows mature decisions and strictness towards his frie nds amidst all the tension, is perfect. He has brought a little mystery and a little v illainy here a nd there, without any hesit ation. Daksh ha brings laughter in some pl aces in the dialogue of the local case of T hekkathi amidst his crying and aggressivon.

Gunavanthan Dhanapal has repeate dly given the same kind of h6 to create a se nse of tension. Thhey have clip performa nce acked only in some places. In the ro le of Chandran, who moves alternate ly bet Yhhween two meters of extreme intoxication, guilt, and crying, Samba Sh ivam has added pressure only in some sc enes. Arjun Dev has done the job given t o him. Overall, except for Kapil Velavan, the overdose of emotional acting is visib le in many places. Read other episodes o f the series Debutant director Ram Indir a has tried to tell the story of one night, five friends, a single incident, and the su bsequent events filled with heartache in a thriller mode. In this, Prem unexpecte dly falls in a pool of blood after being sta bbed with a bottle of alcohol.

Arguments and fights break out among the friends as to who is responsible for t his murder. Not knowing what to do, Cu rly calms his friends who are starting to panic and hides Prem’s body in the trun k of their car. The friends who leave in th e middle of the night, what they did with Prem’s body, and whether they were ca ught by the police, are answered in ‘Man ithargal’, directed by debutant director Ram Indira. Kapil Velavan’s choice is per fect for the character of Curly, who sho ws mature decisions and strictness towa rds his friends in all the tension. No He h as brought a little mystery and a little vi llainy here and there, without any hesita tion. Amidst his crying and aggression, D aksha brings laughter at some places in the Thekkathi local court case.

Gunavanthan Dhanapal has repeatedly given the same kind of performance to c reate a sense of tension. They have click ed only in a few places. Sambha Sivam, i n the role of Chandran, who moves alter nately in two meters of intoxication, gui lt, and crying, has added pressure only in a few scenes. Arjun Dev has done the jo b given to him. Overall, except for Kapil Velavan, the overdose of emotional acti ng from others is evident in many place s.

Ajay Abraham George has given a stunni ng cinematography with a light system f or the film, which moves entirely in one night, mostly inside a car. Ajay makes his mark in the scenes where only the car h eadlights are used! In keeping with the d irector’s film language, editor Tinsa has conveyed the excitement and tension wi thout letting it diminish. The perfect cut s have sharpened many scenes. Anilesh L Mathew’s background music has soun ded like a voice for the emotions that lin e up one after another, such as helplessn ess, crying, fear, and guilt. Art director Mahendran Pandian has designed the fe stival setup perfectly. At the same time, the lack of clarity and precision in the so und design for the dialogues is a big min us ! Debutant director Ram Indira has tr ied to tell the story of one night, five frie nds, a single incident, and the subseque nt events full of emotions in a ‘raw’ man ner in a thriller mode. The incidents are told in a linear manner, and a total of fiv e stories.
