Movie Review -:

Madhumita, who plays the heroine of the story, carries the film on her shoulders with a down-to-earth face and a fiery performance. No matter how many problems come, her journey of facing them and her fighting spirit to overcome opposition is such that it gives hope to others. Madhumita, who has handled the stressful character very well, is sure to win an award for her vibrant performance.

Velmurugan, Rajalingam, Senthil Kumar, Murugesan, Marikannu, Kovai Uma and the actors and actresses who played the villagers have all lived as sons of the soil.

Cinematographer Praveen has depicted the plot and the characters naturally. Thus, the film goes beyond the feeling of watching and gives the experience of witnessing an event firsthand.

The songs and background music, composed by composer V.G. Harikrishnan, have traveled in a way that adds strength to the plot.

Written and directed by Venpa Kathiresan, even though the reservation system gives the socially backward people the opportunity to participate in politics and assert their rights, he has snatched that opportunity and slapped those who try to impose their arrogance of power on them.

Although the film talks about caste division and caste-based oppression, it has also pointed out the villages that are still underdeveloped due to the lack of proper use of government schemes and how caste is used for individual selfishness.

All the political scenes and dialogues are sharp and applaudable. In an environment where a caste-centric film refuses to accept one caste, the director poses a question that makes all parties think. This journey centered on that question, not only talks about the victims, but also travels in a way that speaks clearly about social politics and awakens the people.

Overall, ‘Naalai Namade’ is a powerful work that talks about politics.
