Story -:

Sudharshan Govind, the protagonist, hails from a family that detests the very concept of love marriages; ironically, he attempts to develop a mobile application designed specifically for love and lovers. Archana Ravi, the female lead—who grew up in an orphanage—places no faith in family life and prefers to live independently, all while pursuing her ambition to become a film director.

Meanwhile, in order to successfully develop his app for lovers, the protagonist decides to feign a romance with a woman so that he may gain firsthand insight into the nature of love. Coincidentally, the heroine decides to do the exact same thing—feign a romance with someone—in order to gather material for writing a love story. As fate would have it, these two individuals—both intent on engaging in a sham romance—cross paths. The remainder of the story explores how this journey of feigned love ultimately transforms their perspectives and reshapes their lives.

Movie Review-:

Sudarshan Govind, starring as the male lead, stands tall at over six feet with all the physical attributes of an action hero; yet, he delivers a restrained and nuanced performance in the role of an innocent character.

Demonstrating a distinct transformation not only in his physical appearance—spanning the phases “before love” and “after love”—but also in his acting style, Sudarshan Govind appears to be a performer well-versed in every craft, from acting to dance.
Archana Ravi, playing the female lead, proves to be a fitting match for the protagonist. Although she portrays a character of significant importance within the screenplay—standing on par with the hero—her performance, while competent, does not leave a particularly profound impact.

The supporting cast—including Pradosh and Noble (who play the hero’s friends), Vidhya, Y.G. Mahendran, Nizhalgal Ravi, M.J. Sriram, and Rethika Srinivas—effectively contributes to the flow and progression of the screenplay.

Cinematographer Raja Bhattacharjee’s work elevates the visual quality of the scenes, effectively conveying the emotions of the lovers directly to the hearts of the audience.

While Ashwin Hemanth’s musical compositions may not be standout hits, they possess enough commercial appeal to be engaging. The background score is adequate and serves its purpose well.
Editor S.A. Nagarjun’s work proves to be a significant asset to the film.

Director Ashok Kumar Kalaivani makes a heartfelt attempt to portray the transformative power of love—specifically how it alters the lives of those who initially have no interest in it—handling both the screenplay and the visual staging with admirable simplicity.

Although the narrative centers exclusively on romance, the manner in which it is interwoven with the backdrop of family relationships is engaging; however, the screenplay’s lack of innovative narrative techniques causes the film to feel somewhat weak in places.

Nevertheless, the sequences depicting the emergence of genuine love within the hearts of two individuals who initially feigned affection serve as the film’s greatest strength. All in all, *Nee Forever* is a film dedicated to lovers.
