Ramraj Cotton’s Public Welfare Project: Rs. 35 Lakh Initiative for the Protection of Tiruvannamalai Devotees and Arunac hala Mountain.

Ramraj Cotton, India’s leading company in traditional and cultural dhoti producti on, has successfully completed the insta llation of a protective fence along the re vered 14-kilometer Girivalam path enci rcling Arunachala Mountain in Tiruvann amalai. The initiative, undertaken at a c ost of Rs. 35 lakh, aims to enhance the s afety of pilgrims and protect surroundin g farmlands from wildlife intrusion.
The Girivalam path is a spiritually signif icant route, walked daily by thousands o f devotees as part of their religious obse rvance. In recent times, increased wildli fe movement along the path has posed s afety risks to pilgrims and have caused d amage to agricultural land. The newly in stalled fencing addresses these concern ns, offering a safer environment for bot h devotees and farmers.
