Story-:
Suriya has been struggling for a theatric al hit for many years, and this time, he h as teamed up with a trusted director na med Karthik Subbaraj, and will Retro sa ve that trust and give Suriya a comebac k, let’s see. Suriya loses his father in the first scene, and Joju George’s wife adop ts and raises him. After this accident, Su riya forgets what laughter and happine ss are.
Although Suriya sees Joju George as a f ather, he sees him as a servant. He does many destructive things with him. At th e same time, when Suriya falls in love wi th Pooja, he tries to enter married life by leaving everything behind and leaving e verything behind. However, Suriya does not do the last job that his father gave hi m, and hides it. Due to this, Joju George gets angry and says that if you kill Pooja, you will tell him, Suriya cuts off Joju Geo rge’s hand.
Due to this, Pooja angrily goes to Anda man, Suriya goes to jail. Then Surya find s out where his girlfriend is and goes the re, while Joju, George Group and some o thers chase Surya, and what happens ne xt in the war is the rest of the story.

Movie Review -:
Karthik Subbaraj seems to have been ins pired by the film Thalapathy because he is a Rajini fan, and he has adapted a Kris hna story to suit this period. There is a lo
t of metaphor in the film, Suriya, who is born with a whale’s imprint, is immersed in a flood of blood with a foot-to-foot fig ht, and Pooja’s love is all that flood. Whe re that love takes him is shown in 6 part s – Love, Comedy, War, Cult, The One, D hammam. Suriya is definitely a comeba ck as an actor, especially the single shot scene in the wedding hall at the beginni ng of the film is worth the money, the fil m crew has worked hard.
Pooja is so beautiful, not just beautiful, but has also done a little acting in it, the Suriya-Pooja pair is a treat for the fans t hroughout the film, at the same time, th e montage scenes that follow the Lolita song are a treat.
The film is about God going to Andaman and saving the people, Suriya coming as that god, HB killing the monsters called Arasan and connecting it as a story, all o f that is good. But, whether there was an y interest in that fight is a bit questionab le. Suriya, who never laughs, laughs duri ng the interval, makes you sit up straigh t, and only occasionally in the second ha lf.
At one point, I couldn’t help but think, “What is this, one in a thousand?” Beyon d Suriya-Pooja, Joju George’s acting is gr eat, and the scenes where he says “Anbu Manave Daddy is Coming” are enjoyabl e.
Also, it seems like famous actors like Na ssar and Prakash Raj are coming and goi ng, Jairam scores a little as the laughter doctor, and Karunakaran is just a Karth ik Subbaraj company artist, so they just stand there in the frame.
It seems like the film would have been in teresting even if it had gone towards lov e, fight, and war. The technical aspects o f the film are very strong. The cinematog raphy is superb, showing the Andaman a nd the battleground. Another hero of th e film, Santhosh Narayanan, is intimidati ng in the background. Suriya’s performa nce holds the entire film together.

gh Retro is a comeback for Suriya as an actor, it is a bit of a stumbling block for Suriya-Karthik Subbaraj as a whole.
