While chasing a suspect, they unexpectedly get stuck in a slum area. There, they encounter a gang that is planning to rob banks all over the city. In the end, the main theme of the film is whether the hero foils the gang’s plan.

Movie Review -: ni

Atharvaa has once again taken on a strong role after DNA and performed well. He has convincingly expressed emotions including action, love, and anger. If he continues to choose such roles, it will be beneficial for his career.

Although Ashwin has played the villain, he has given a performance that is no less than the hero. Although the character is less strong in the reasons given, there is no flaw in his acting.

Lavanya has been given only a regular limited role as the heroine.

Those who played the constable characters including Bharani and Shah have done their part well. The cinematographer has recorded the scenes with full effort.

His work in the urban scenes and the slum environment brings the film to life. Justin Prabhakaran’s background music is a major strength, increasing the tension and excitement of the film. Director Ravindra Madhava, who has written the screenplay based on the fake encounter incident, has created excitement in the way the story moves.

Especially, the story picks up speed after the constables get trapped in the slum. Although the hero introduction and love scenes are featured in the first 20 minutes, the story gets intense after that. Overall, Thanal is a thrilling thriller. Despite some flaws, the storytelling and technical aspects definitely make the film worth watching. A watchable action thriller.
