Story -:
Nayakan Gugan Chakraborty, an influential businessman of Thoothukudi district, is lonely on the beach, heartbroken by an unhappy home life, when he is shocked to see his ex-girlfriend trying to commit suicide and saves him. Knowing that his ex-lover’s married life is similar to his own, Emperor Gugan commits a murder and starts living with her to restore her life.
Meanwhile, Kugan is murdered by Chakraborty, who threatens his girlfriend over the phone. Confused as to how the dead man can speak, certain incidents occur that frighten his lonely girlfriend. This further confuses the Kugan Emperor, who is the person trying to threaten his girlfriend and himself? He is trying to find out. What happens next is the rest of the film.

Movie Review -:
Gugan Chakraborty, who has played the lead role and directed the film, enthralls the audience by taking over the entire screen as the white Vijayakanth, in the style of Rajinikanth. He has shown all the heroes of Tamil cinema in his single image: the action of knocking the wrongdoers, love for his wife, concern for his ex-girlfriend, the calm nature of respecting everyone, the gift of helping the poor people.
The two heroines, the hero’s wife and ex-girlfriend, have traveled as commercial heroines not only for songs and love scenes, but also as important characters in the story.
Ponnambalam, Vayapuri and Vasu Vikram’s experienced performances add strength to the film. A lot of newcomers, not knowing what work they are going to do. The song written focusing on Dravidian leaders and Tamil cinema heroes attracts attention. The background music has also gone along with the visuals. Cinematography is okay.
Working in 21 departments including story, screenplay, dialogue, direction, cinematography, music, Gugan Chakraborty, who is carrying the film on his shoulder as a single person, is not only serious but burning in his chest like a fire, it can be seen in every scene of the film. Especially as an actor his every move is so mass that even mass heroes are in awe of it. The film starts as a mass action story and then travels on the path of family drama and then returns to the path of suspense thriller. The screenplay, which travels in many genres, creates many kinds of confusion in the minds of the audience through many unexpected turns.
Gugan Chakraborty, who attracts attention as an actor, keeps the audience enthralled as a director. A film like this…! He makes one wonder, in many places, is this all a film…? , All in all, ” VANGALA VIRIGUDA – is a screen tsunami.
