Story-:
In Chittoor, businessman Padam Venu Kumar dies leaving all his Chittoor properties in his will to his two sons. In that will, he also leaves a house in a two-crore apartment complex in Chennai to a woman named Alekia. The sons, eager to snatch the house that their father had left to an unknown woman, present another woman in court, claiming that Alekia is the one. However, Judge Sonia Agarwal, who is suspicious of the woman, entrusts the responsibility of investigating the truth behind this case to the court’s sub-inspector Vikrant. Sub-inspector Vikrant, who investigates as per the judge’s order, discovers many facts. What is it? Who is the real Alekia mentioned in the will? What is her background? Why does the businessman need to leave his property to Alekia? The film’s screenplay answers questions like this with many twists and turns.

Movie Review-:
Sonia Agarwal, who plays the female judge, has portrayed the main character with a majestic look, speech, and body language, through her elegant performance.
Vikranth, who plays the honest sub-inspector in a special appearance, has done a great job.
Alekia has understood the importance of the story that revolves around her and has given a compelling performance to the character through her eyes.
All the supporting characters including Birla Bose, Padam Venu Kumar, Mohan Raman, ‘Lollu Saba’ Swaminathan have given flawless performances.
The technical artists, cinematographer D.S. Prasanna, music composer Saurabh Agarwal, editor G. Dinesh, art director Mani, all are technically excellent.
Director Sivaraman, who has written and directed the script in a courtroom setting, focusing on the story of a daughter trying to clear her father’s name from a ghost employment scam, the complications of relationships, a woman’s sacrifice, abortion, infertility, and a businessman’s will, has created a storyline that should have been a thrilling court drama. The flaw in the script is that it is not a thrilling court drama and is presented in a way that is not properly explained by director Sivaraman. Overall, Vil, jointly produced by Footsteps Productions and Kothari Madras International, is a thrilling family drama set in a courtroom setting.
