Story -:
Surya (Sanjay Viswanath), hailing from a wealthy family, returns home after winning a gold medal in Olympic shooting. While his mother, Radhika, is overjoyed by his achievement, she is also concerned that he remains unmarried at the age of 42.
Radhika frequently urges Surya to ensure the family has an heir. Consequently, Surya decides to have a child through a surrogate mother. Radhika happily takes on the role of caring for her grandson.
However, the child suddenly falls ill, and doctors advise that an immediate bone marrow transplant is required. They state that the child’s biological mother is the most suitable donor and insist she be brought in immediately.
Surya travels abroad, meets the child’s mother—Mamitha Baiju—explains the situation, and brings her back to India. Upon arriving for the sake of the child, Mamitha falls in love with Surya and declares that she will never leave him; however, Surya refuses to accept her. Did Surya change his mind? Did their romance blossom? That forms the rest of the story.

Movie Review -:
Lead actor Surya needs no lessons in acting; as always, he captivates everyone with his performance. He beautifully carries the screenplay, effortlessly balancing sternness, the nuances of a hidden romance, and comedy.
Leading lady Mamitha Baiju delivers a performance that rivals Surya’s. Her antics as a spirited young woman are delightful to watch. Actress Radhika Sarathkumar’s seasoned performance is a major asset to the film. Additionally, the performances of the entire cast, including Raveena Tandon and Sunil Reddy, are excellent.
Director Venky Atluri has crafted the film around the romance between two individuals with a 20-year age gap. The way he has woven various emotions—involving children, mothers, and relationships—into the screenplay is impressive. The humorous handling of certain scenes is also enjoyable.
However, the screenplay lacks sufficient engagement, causing even some good scenes to feel sluggish. Furthermore, the emotional connection to the story could have been stronger. The action sequences are terrible. Cinematography is a major strength of the film; Surya’s home, hospital sequences, and wedding scenes have all been visually stunning.
Regarding G.V. Prakash’s music, apart from the songs “Pattampoochi” and the one dedicated to the mother, nothing else truly resonates. The background score could have been better. Surya, Mamitha Baiju, Radhika Sarathku mar, Interval ,Comed y scenes, Photography Lack of engage ment in the screenpl ay. Overall, despite its flaws, ‘Viswanath & Sons’ is definite ly a film worth watching with the whole family.
