Story -:
Krithika, a girl from a remote mountain village, aspires to study. But, his living environment and location with no basic facilities hinder his dream of education. Arulnidhi, the district collector, joins him in his ambitious journey to educate the children of his hill village along with his commitment to education somehow. Movie Review-:
Playing the role of an honest district collector who works for the upliftment of the hill people, Arulnidhi has done justice to the role of the collector Muthuvel with her mature performance. His quiet acting and body language add a lot of strength to the film. He overcomes the image of a hero and gets appreciation for 7uhandling the character very well which gives importance to the story.
Aarav, who plays another hero, is seen on screen working hard to transform himself into a tribal. Although he refuses to stick to the character in some scenes, he has done his job flawlessly.
Although Ramya Pandiyan, who is playing the heroine, does not have a big job, she does her job well and gets a place in people’s hearts.
Playing a tribal girl, Krithika grabs attention with her realistic and poignant performance. He has given a great contribution to the film by handling all the feelings like interest in studies, fear, longing and distress after separation from his parents.
Screen presence of Kali Venkat, John Vijay and VTV Ganesh adds strength to the screenplay.
Cinematographer M. Sukumar has beautifully conveyed the beauty of the mountains and the life of the hill dwellers to the audience.
All the songs composed by GV Prakash Kumar reflect the plot and the mental struggles of the storytellers. The background music enlivens the scenes depicting the life of the painful hill dwellers.
Lawrence Kishore’s cinematography keeps the screenplay moving slowly, but keeps the film moving in a realistic way.
Director Ganesh Vinayak, who has spoken out loud about the fact that people are living without education and basic needs in the current era of rapid technological development, has brought the true condition of the tribal people on the screen without any compromise in a compelling and honest manner.
Although the screenplay, devoid of commercial elements, gives the impression of watching a documentary at some points, the scenes based on true events are mind-blowing.
Director Ganesh Vinayakam has succeeded in portraying the struggle of tribal people living in remote villages for education and basic amenities close to the truth and has kept not only the audience but also the rulers thinking.
All in all, ‘Arulvaan’ is a good work with social concern.
