CHENNAI OCTOBER 2026
In an extraordinary demonstration of strength, endurance and determination, O’Sensei G. Vijaya Sri, a young karate instructor from Chennai, has made history as the first woman in the world to establish a record for the “Greatest Distance Pushing a Car in One Hour by a Female.” Adjudicated by the World Book of Records, London, the historic achievement took place at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), Porur, Chennai, under OPERATION MO-SI-DAU, an initiative towards a drug-free society.
A MASTER’S VISION
The driving force behind this achievement is MASTER PRADEEP BABU (SHIHAN), 6th Dan Black Belt – D, renowned karate expert, international medalist, world record holder, Rashtrapati Scout awardee and Founder & Managing Trustee of PRAJAYA Foundation. With 16 years of martial arts instruction, he has trained over 5,000 students, developed 200+ black belts and mentored 25 disciples into instructors. His vision, systematic training and dedicated mentorship transformed his disciple’s perseverance into a historic achievement with a meaningful social purpose.
FROM KARATE STUDENT TO WORLD RECORD ACHIEVER
A 3rd Dan Black Belt, Vijaya Sri has trained under Master Pradeep Babu for nearly 12 years. A final-year student at SRIHER, she teaches karate to over 100 students in Chennai and actively volunteers with PRAJAYA Foundation.

Vijaya Sri stated, “My greatest achievement is not how far I pushed the car, but how many young minds this effort inspires to stay away from drugs.”
CHIEF GUEST AND SRIHER’S INSTITUTIONAL SUPPORT
The attempt was ceremonially flagged off by Dr. R. Sivakumar, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (Law & Order), Avadi Police Commissionerate, as Chief Guest.
Organised by PRAJAYA Foundation and Zen Isshinryu Karate, in collaboration with SRIHER, the event received strong support from SRIHER’s management, academic leadership, faculty and students. Over 5,000 students and spectators gathered to witness and celebrate the achievement, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to youth empowerment, public health and social responsibility.
OPERATION MO-SI-DAU: BEYOND A WORLD RECORD
OPERATION MO-SI-DAU (Mother–Sister–Daughter) celebrates women’s strength, dignity and leadership while encouraging young people to choose discipline, self-control and purposeful living over drug addiction.
“PUSH THE CAR, NOT YOUR LIFE INTO DRUGS.”
A MASTER’S MESSAGE TO THE NATION
Master Pradeep Babu stated:
“India achieved political independence in 1947, but our struggle for freedom from drug addiction continues. The discipline that builds champions can also build a stronger society. A world record may inspire a generation for a moment, but a meaningful social movement can transform generations. Our mission is to create responsible citizens for a drug-free India.”
The gathering celebrated this historic milestone as a collective victory, applauding Vijaya Sri and her mentor.
ONE WORLD RECORD. ONE SOCIAL MISSION. ONE DRUG-FREE INDIA.
