Story-:
Vadhandhi is a web series released in December 2022. A young girl is mysteriously found dead. How did he die? Why? The eight-part gossip web series is about the police finding out.
Hero SJ Surya played the role of an Assistant Inspector who comes to investigate the case of Sanjana, a heroine named Veloni, who died mysteriously.
Now the second part of the series is Vadhandhi 2 web series.
In this series, skeletons are found while digging a ditch for a government function in Madurai district. The mysteries behind it and who is the culprit? Assistant Inspector Sasikumar steps in to find out. What happens in that investigation? Vadhandhi 2 is trying to tell that.
Sasikumar is playing the role of a police assistant inspector for the first time. If he wants to do the role well, he has realized that looks are not enough and he has to fully express the role. It has strengthened him and the series.
Aparnathas, who plays Sasikumar’s wife, has given an attention-grabbing performance.
Anaka, who is playing the role of Maduraimawat police inspector, is getting a warm welcome by playing the role of Miduku.
Debutant Yashwant gets attention by playing a Madurai youth who is interested in catching cows. Revathi who plays Yashwant’s girlfriend is good.
Vivek Prasanna, who played the role of Ram in the first part, has taken on the same role and acted aptly to confirm that Vadham is a sequel to the first part.
The cinematographer Saravanan Ramasamy has made the scenes light by using the scenes and lighting suitable for the investigation stories.
The scenes of the series have come to the fore with background music by Simon K. King.

It is written and directed by Andrew Lewis. He has broken the grammar of such investigation stories by adding some things including a jallikattu match.

Usually in Tamil cinema, Sasikumar is the first thing that comes to our mind when we think of Madurai as the plot. Moreover, he will be remembered in an adavadi character which has been popular for many years.
Kudos to director Andrew Lewis for changing that and showing him as an assistant inspector in Madurai district.
In Madurai, a skeleton was found while digging a hole for a program, and the entire media highlights that incident as it is a prelude to a government program.
As a result the responsibility of finding it is given to Assistant Inspector Sasikumar.
Sasikumar begins his investigation with the decomposed skeleton and discovers that another skeleton has been buried. And to find out that the two skeletons are women and that they were murdered, someone is arrested and jailed in connection with it.
Even though the town believes that the case is over, Sasikumar’s police brain refuses to accept it. The series explains many questions like his instinct to tell that the real culprit behind this is someone else, is he right in thinking that he is traveling further into the case and if so who is the arrested person and why he has to maintain fake silence.
A great screenplay shatters our preconceived notions by thinking the exact opposite of what we as the audience tend to think when the usual crime thriller treatment like this is set up.
Andrew Lewis has written the screenplay with such exciting twists.
Also, Andrew Lewis has effectively written the screenplay of this film, touching on an international subject with the traditional cultural sense of Tamil youth, the love of young people who have passed them, family relationship and the traditional cultural feeling of Tamil youth.
Now let’s come to Sasikumar who plays the hero of the story. Sasikumar, who plays the role of Assistant Inspector Musa Raza, can be appreciated for playing a normal police officer without showing any wasted smartness in his body language.
One can enjoy the natural body language used for this series as well as his trademark acting of movie characters.
Next to him is Anaka who plays the role of SB. His khaki uniform suits him as well as the character.
Actor Yashwanth, who will make his debut in the role of Rumamathan Mani, has lived as a youth in Madurai district. Starting from catching a cow to strolling as a love bull, he has poured in his performance without escaping the role.
Tata Aparna Das, who suddenly disappeared from Tamil cinema, even though she gave her best performance in the film, she plays Sasikumar’s wife in a mostly insignificant role.
Vivek Prasanna, who played the role of Rama in the first season of this series, is also seen in the same role.
Revathi’s acting as Yashwant’s girlfriend is also special. Cinematographer Saravanan Ramasamy’s contribution gives this frame thriller series justice.
Cinematographer Richard Kevin A, the way the series is edited also helps to carve out the screenplay.
Music by composer Simon K. King adds strength to the series. Creating and playing a theme song especially in the background music makes it easier for us to blend into the feel of the story.
Usually the charm of web series like this is to leave the suspense at the end of the first episode to see what is going to happen in the next episode.
Although the strategy is used in this one, unlike in season one where the story moves to find out who the killer is, the treatment is different in this one where the killer is told and the killer is tried to be innocent.
Since there are no restrictions like cinema for web serials, it has become customary for them to put dialogues and scenes that are not afraid of the censor in this era, even though it is a murder story, we have to appreciate Andrew Lewis who has written the film Nayam to be watched with the family.
Pushkar Gayatri, who has produced the series, ‘Wallwatcher Films’ should also be praised.VADHANDHI 3 – The season can also be made liberally..!
